The Challenge
BA Glass is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of glass packaging, with a long-standing history and large-scale production. Their facilities in Bulgaria – located in Plovdiv and Sofia – cover all stages of the manufacturing process: from glass melting and enameling, through cooling, to sorting and distribution across 8 inspection-cleared production lines.
Before engaging with us in 2021, the company relied on printers from various manufacturers, which frequently caused issues – repeated breakdowns, challenging maintenance, and inconsistent marking quality. These problems often led to production stoppages and losses.
Our Solution
After presenting the benefits of the Domino D320i laser printer, we proposed a rental-based trial period. We installed 5 laser printers to operate in a real production environment and demonstrate their effectiveness and reliability.
Over the following year, the printers successfully passed all tests under high production load. They delivered clear and consistent marking, required no consumables, and needed minimal maintenance.
The Results
Convinced by the equipment’s performance and our service, BA Glass began a gradual replacement of their old coding systems. Over the next few years, as their production capacities expanded, they fully equipped their lines with Domino D320i laser printers rented from us.
Today, 27 Domino D320i printers operate flawlessly across all of their production flows – from inspected bottles to final packaging. The Arcon Bulgaria team provides full support and fast response, ensuring an uninterrupted production process.
