The Challenge
BA Glass is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of glass packaging, with a long-standing history and large-scale production. Their facilities in Bulgaria – located in Plovdiv and Sofia – cover all stages of the manufacturing process: from glass melting and enameling, through cooling, to sorting and distribution across 8 inspection-cleared production lines.
Due to the high complexity of the coding application, BA Glass was facing repeated breakdowns, inconsistent codes and very high running costs.
Our Solution
After presenting the benefits of working with Arcon Group and our long experience in complex Coding applications, we initially installed 5 Domino D320i laser printers to demonstrate their effectiveness and reliability as well as very low-running cost. Convinced by our solution, BA Glass gradually replaced all their old coding equipment with a total of 27 Domino D320i laser printers which now operate flawlessly across all their production halls - from inspected bottles to final packaging. The Arcon Group team provides full support and fast response, ensuring an uninterrupted production process.
